Contract staffing that flexes with the project, not the fiscal year
Specialist professionals engaged for a defined scope and duration, on our payroll and under our compliance — so you add capability quickly without adding permanent headcount.
Capacity when the work arrives, not two quarters later
Headcount approval rarely moves at the speed of a project. Contract staffing closes that gap: you get the skills on the ground in weeks, funded from project budget rather than permanent salary lines, for exactly as long as the work lasts.
Every contractor we place is employed by Cloud Data Vision. We handle the employment relationship, payroll, statutory contributions, insurance, work authorisation verification, background screening and timesheets. You approve hours and receive a single consolidated invoice.
Contracts typically run from three to twenty-four months, and can be extended, reduced or converted to permanent employment with agreed notice on both sides.
- W-2 and 1099 arrangements supported
- Corp-to-corp for incorporated consultants
- Weekly or monthly timesheet cycles
- Consolidated single invoice
What we take on, and what stays with you
A clear split of responsibility, agreed in writing before anyone starts.

Where contract staffing works best
Situations where a fixed-term specialist beats both a permanent hire and an outsourced project.
Migration and implementation
A cloud migration, ERP rollout or platform upgrade needs deep skills for twelve months and none of them afterwards.
Backfill for critical roles
Parental leave, sabbatical or a sudden resignation in a role you cannot leave open while you run a permanent search.
Regulatory deadlines
A submission, audit response or compliance programme with a hard date and no room to train someone up.
Proving a business case
Run a pilot with contract resources; convert to permanent headcount once the results justify the ask.
Scaling a delivery team
Add engineers, testers or analysts around a permanent core so the core is never the bottleneck.
Rare skill sets
Skills you need for a defined period but cannot realistically retain full-time at market rates.
From requirement to start date
Requirement and rate agreement
We confirm the skills, duration, location, work authorisation constraints and the bill rate range before we start sourcing. No surprises at offer stage.
Shortlist within days
Three to five screened profiles with availability, notice period and rate expectation stated for each.
Your interview
We schedule around your panel and brief the candidate on your environment, so the conversation starts at the technical level rather than at introductions.
Onboarding and compliance
Background checks, paperwork and equipment coordination run in parallel so the agreed start date holds.
Delivery and check-ins
Structured check-ins in week one, month one and quarterly, with both you and the consultant, plus timesheet and invoice administration throughout.
Contract staffing questions
What contract lengths do you support?
Anything from three months upward. Shorter needs are usually better served by our temporary staffing service, which is built for rapid, short-duration cover.
Can a contractor be converted to permanent employment?
Yes. Conversion terms are set out in the original agreement, typically with a conversion fee that reduces the longer the contractor has been on assignment. Many clients plan for this from the start — see our contract-to-hire service.
How are rates structured?
You are quoted an all-inclusive hourly or daily bill rate covering salary, statutory costs, insurance and our fee. There are no separate administration charges.
What happens if the contractor is not performing?
Raise it with your account manager. We will address it directly with the consultant and, if it cannot be resolved quickly, replace them under the terms agreed at the start.
